End of Week 3

So it's been 3 weeks and I've lost another 1.5lbs, totalling 10.5lbs! Which I have to say I'm quite impressed with!

It hasn't been a breeze as some days I've really craved tasty food and treats but I've pretty much got through it. Last week I had 2 off days which involved chocolate, KFC and generally pigging out - all because I wasn't feeling well. So looking back 1.5lbs is pretty good and I only went on one run.

Ok, so my week ahead involves 2 days out and a bank holiday. My challenge is to get in some exercise!

Meals have been pretty standard this week but I will say that Tesco Light Choices Lasagne and Chicken Curry have been awesome!

Ok so the day was going excellent but I miss counted my syns!!!

Although I did do an hour of Zumba and had less than 15 syns... So I'm not feeling that bad about it! AND I didn't really have lunch.

End of Week 1 -Day 7 - Wednesday 8th August


Well, my first weigh in. A little bit excited as the first week is always guaranteed to be a good one. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was though!

Lost 6.5lbs!!!!

Although I have to admit that this might have something to do with the fact that I had jeans, jumper and my watch on last week. Either way, it means I'm at the same starting point as I was with Tara last year for the diet tribe.

My first goal of a stone isn't that far away. Would love this by September.

My first event to look forward to is in a couple of weeks.,.. Ffos las on the 24th followed by the first match of the season and then Clare's hen do! All in one weekend!!!

Aiming for at least 2 lbs for next week. Although 4.5 would be pretty amazeballs as it will put me into the next stone bracket!

Seeing as I've done 2 days and started my Half Marathon training I thought it would be a good time to post some pictures to motivate me to make the changes and get back to where I used to be!

Taken at a workshop I was delivering in July 2012!  This is not great as it shows all the weight I'm carrying around my waist!

At the Royal Welsh Show in July - wow, this really does show the excess I'm carrying around my waist!
I' not keen on this one as my face looks quite chunky!  

So those are a small selection of my FAT photos... to be honest.. there are a lot of pictures taken of me that don't look too bad as I've angled my face quite well, but the full body ones aren't good at all! The photos to follow is of last year when I lost weight and felt great about it!

At the Business Network awards which will be again this year!  After this I started to put weight back on!

Wearing my first Lunacy dress and feeling quite proud after the half marathon!  Since putting on weight I've not been able to buy clothes at Luncy so I'll look forward to buying my next dress from there!

I think this was at the peak of my weight loss.  If only I really knew how good I looked.  Those trousers  won't go near me now! :-(

As much as this photo isn't one that I've shown a lot of people, this suit is  really tight on me at the moment and I think  I look quite good! 

At the time I had this photo taken on the morning of the half marathon I didn't like it... but now, looking back I look fairly fit in comparison to what I look like now!
 
And this is one of my favourites as I loved this dress from Oasis!  Admittedly I had to wear my 'hold me in' underwear to smooth everything out but I really did feel good wearing this one!

Day 2 Friday 3rd August

Ok so it looks like I might have messed up my second day! I started putting my suns and stuff into the mobile app and then did my food diary and missed a few things out! Oops... Conveniently forgot that I had half a lager after work and then had a Crunchie as my evening snack!

I suppose to make up for my little hiccup I need to get my ass back out there and start exercising. It's quite a scary thought but it's got to be done as I won't be able to shift the lbs

*Pepper sauce was a little runny as I added some boiled water so didn't have have as much as I did last night!

Day 1 Thursday 2nd August

First day on the slimming world...might have gone over my allowance but it wasn't do bad! So here was what I ate:

(Had a skinny wet cappuccino in Costa before one of my meetings which really I shouldn't have done as I think it tipped me over my allowance!)

Mid afternoon snack

Half a bar of Crunchie! It was delicious and very much enjoyed it!


All in all not a bad start to the diet. Really hoping for a 3lb loss in my first week as I've certainly got lots to lose!
